AE Tools & Computers Return & Refund Policy

This policy outlines the conditions under which AE Tools & Computers accepts returns, issues refunds, or authorizes exchanges. By placing an order, the customer agrees to the terms below. These policies are strictly enforced.

Return Eligibility & Timeframes

  • Hardware returns must be requested within fourteen (14) days of receipt. Requests submitted after this period will not be approved.
  • All sales are final on software, licenses, activation codes, and subscriptions. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted.
  • Refurbished and Garage Sale items are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Required Return Authorization (RMA)

  • All returns require prior authorization and an issued RMA number. The RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of the shipment.
  • Any return received without an RMA number will be rejected and returned to the sender at the customer's expense.
  • For purchases made through an authorized reseller, the reseller must contact AE Tools to obtain an RMA before returning any product.

Condition of Returned Hardware

  • All hardware must be returned in sellable condition, including original packaging, accessories, manuals, and components.
  • AE Tools reserves the right to deduct amounts from the refund for missing, damaged, or non-original items.

Fees, Shipping & Inspection

  • Shipping and freight charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer or reseller unless the return is due to a verified product issue.
  • All authorized returns are subject to a five (5) business day inspection period.
  • All hardware returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus a $75 processing and handling fee unless otherwise approved.

All delivery address changes requested after item has been shipped will be subject to a $65 Delivery Change charge.

Software, Licensing & Subscriptions

  • Licenses, activation codes, and subscriptions must be activated or assigned within thirty (30) days of purchase.
  • No refunds or returns will be issued for software, subscriptions, licenses, or activation codes.

Warranty & Product Quality Issues

  • AE Tools follows the manufacturer's published warranty timelines. No additional warranty is provided unless purchased separately.
  • Product quality concerns must be submitted through AE Tools' support system before a product is considered defective.
  • Verified product quality issues are handled on a case-by-case basis directly with the end user.

Exchanges

  • Product exchanges are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Prior written authorization from AE Tools is required before any exchange is initiated.
